The Role

Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.

Our high profile criminal justice mental health services work to identify and support people in contact with the criminal justice system who have mental health and other complex needs. We provide services to London Magistrates’ Courts, Crown Courts, Police Custody Suites and Probation Services; working in close collaboration with our partners in health and social care.  We have also been developing and delivering early identification and prevention models of support, including for young adults and for people at risk of using emergency services when experiencing complex distress.

This post will play a lead role in developing Together’s portfolio of criminal justice services through facilitating and inspiring effective strategic relationships with partners; identifying, managing and promoting development opportunities and supporting service implementation. The role will require excellent communication skills and experience of designing and delivering services for vulnerable people.

This is a fixed-term contract for maternity cover until 31st July 2018

Interviews will take place on 25th July 2017

We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BME backgrounds.
